Chores For Everyone
In Amish culture, the family is the most significant social unit. Seven to ten children per family are typical in large households. There are undoubtedly numerous household duties that one person cannot possibly complete for a family with so many children.
As a result, everyone in the family, from the smallest to the oldest, helps out with the housework. It’s a division of labor that not only helps them save time but also keeps them closer together. The kids help with duties like cleaning and doing the dishes. Doing so not only helps conserve their energy but also frees up their time for other lucrative endeavors.
