Some Multipurpose Gloves
The pandemic hit the world unexpectedly and people found it difficult to navigate being apart from loved ones because of the restrictions. With a disease as virulent as the covid 19, it meant that human contact needed to be avoided as much as possible. We were advised to stop touching other people, to keep our distance, and wear nose masks—things that cut us off from people emotionally and physically.
It was worse for the patients who were diagnosed with the disease because they became the ones that people avoided even more. But these Brtazillian nurses knew that despite safety concerns, people still needed human connection so they mimicked it.
