Needs VS Wants
While some people aren’t certain of their next meal and struggle to make ends meet, others seem to have more important problems like where they’ll spend the night in space. You would think human beings have solved all the problems on earth with the way the focus has shifted to otherworldly ventures.
This tweet puts the idea forward that if there’s so much money to build a hotel in space, wouldn’t it have come in handy to make healthcare more generally accessible and available? But as long as there’s no proper distribution of wealth, the agenda of the rich will always overshadow the needs of the masses.
