Many Helping Hands

Most Amish people reside in small settlements of 20 or fewer homes centered around autonomously governing churches. According to government records, the largest concentration of Amish people live in Ohio, closely followed by Pennsylvania and Indiana.
However, each group shares a common trait, its unshakeable sense of unity. The Amish are a well-known group of individuals that carry out many activities together. Other than their numerous offspring, who assist in all tasks, the community or neighbors are willing to lend a hand if necessary. Also, they frequently provide financial assistance to young individuals who are establishing families and require financing.
