Lily Allen – USA
Lily Allen, an English musician, had her work permit revoked by the Los Angeles airport officials due to an alleged altercation with a photographer. In 2007, the ”Alfie” singer was stopped and interrogated for five hours by the authorities after traveling by plane from Australia to the United States to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.
According to reports, Allen was distraught over the incident since she hadn’t anticipated such severe repercussions. She was eventually deported after the authorities refused to be lenient with her. Allen later said she was working to find a solution in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper.
