Nuked Foil
As soon as you put that foil in the microwave, it starts reflecting microwaves and so heats the surface area of the microwave itself. Or, if the microwaves flow through the foil itself, then it can even ignite and make your microwave look like something out of Star Trek Beyond!
If we put our detective hats on and looked at the details, it seems like the foil ignited and heated the roof of the microwave to the melting point. Sometimes we need to see something with our own eyes to believe it!
