One of the most well-known princess stories from Disney is that of Cinderella. Because of World War II, Disney was on the verge of bankruptcy. Thankfully, this 1950 movie was able to help the studio rise because it was commercially and critically successful. The story revolves around the titular character who became a servant as per her stepmom’s instructions.
Cinderella gets help from her fairy godmother when she attends the ball to meet Prince Charming, but she must hurry back before midnight or else she would risk her identity. A live-action remake starring Lily James hit theaters in 2015.
