Based on the book published in the 1900s, the 1939 movie “The Wizard of Oz” tells the story of a girl named Dorothy Gale (Judy Garland) and her dog Toto as they navigate the Land of Oz after they were whisked away by a tornado from their house in Kansas into the magical land.
The duo traversed the Yellow Brick Road to seek the help of a wizard, but along the way, they met a few friends, namely the Tin Man, a Scarecrow, and a Lion. Not only is the Academy-winning film a classic, but it also teaches kids the value of helping others in need.
