The Game – Canada

Despite their reputation as friendly people, Canadians take no prisoners when it comes to organized crime. Hip-hop artist The Game was refused entry to the country because of a real-life link to the L.A.-based Bloods gang, even though a vast majority of rappers out there make bloodthirsty gang claims in their songs.
Reportedly in 2011, The Game was detained at the Canadian border and ultimately deported because of his affiliation with that group, and the ban still stands. The situation proved costly for the artist, who had an extensive Canadian tour already lined up before finding out he wasn’t allowed in the country.
