Baby Freddie Mercury In The Arms Of His Mother

The late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury will forever be remembered for the iconic image of him in his yellow military jacket and Adidas shoes on the stage of Wembley Stadium. But once upon a time, the “Bohemian Rhapsody” singer was just a baby in the arms of his mother, Jer Bulsara.
This lovely image was taken in Stone Town, Zanzibar, where he was born as Farrokh Bulsara on September 5, 1946. That said, it’s no shock that the world’s first museum dedicated to Mercury’s memory also opened its doors there in 2020, according to CNN.
