Jazz Jennings
Jazz Jennings, born on October 6, 2000, is a fantastic inspiration for many. She’s an American YouTube personality, TV personality, spokesmodel, and LGBT rights activist. During her childhood, she bravely identified as transgender, making her one of the youngest documented people. In 2007, Jazz’s interview with Barbara Walters on “20/20” skyrocketed her fame.
Jazz’s parents noted that their daughter knew she was a girl from the moment she could speak. She and her parents co-founded the TransKids Purple Rainbow Foundation to support transgender youth. She’s also the founder of Purple Rainbow Tails, which manufactures rubber mermaid tails to raise funds for transgender children.
