Gigi Gorgeous Getty, the Canadian socialite, model, and actress, began her journey on the popular streaming platform YouTube in 2008. She gained a massive following and a fan base with her video blogs and reality show “The Avenue.” After a hiatus in 2013, she came out as a transgender woman and officially changed her name to Gigi, which gained a lot of media attention.
In 2014, she began documenting her gender transition journey, which went viral. Through her modeling, she has been featured on the covers of Paper and Fashion magazines. Gigi is a perfect example of someone who has overcome societal stigmas and is an inspiration to many.
