Alexandra Billings
If there’s one thing Alexandra Billings is known for, it’s breaking boundaries in Hollywood. As the second openly transgender woman to play a transgender character on TV, she paved the way for more representation of the trans community in the entertainment industry.
She has appeared in Amazon’s “Transparent” as Davina and in guest roles on shows like “How to Get Away with Murder” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” But her acting chops aren’t the only thing that makes her stand out. Alexandra is also a teacher and singer, using her platform to inspire and educate others. She started her transition in 1980 and has advocated for transgender rights ever since.
