Lilly Wachowski
Lilly Wachowski is a visionary filmmaker who, along with her sister, Lana, has pushed the boundaries of science fiction and cinema. Born in 1967, her passion for storytelling and filmmaking started early, as she and Lana made Super 8 movies together as kids. Together, they created some of the most influential movies of our time, such as “The Matrix” and “V for Vendetta.”
However, Lilly’s influence extends beyond her work in the film industry. In 2016, she bravely came out as a transgender woman, inspiring many in the LGBTQ+ community. Since then, she has used her platform to raise awareness and advocate for trans rights.
