Tommy Dorfman
Tommy Dorfman is an American actor, artist, and LGBTQ+ activist. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Ryan Shaver on the hit Netflix series “13 Reasons Why.” In 2021, she came out as a transgender woman in a powerful interview with Time magazine, which sparked important conversations about transgender representation in Hollywood.
Before identifying as a woman, Tommy came out as non-binary in 2017, using they/them pronouns. Only a few years later, she had a realization and publicly started using she/her pronouns. It was quite a journey for her, but in the end, she knew where her heart was and what she wanted from life.
