The Ronettes is a girl group composed of two sisters and one cousin, with whom they have been performing since they were teenagers. Their biggest hit is the 1963 pop and R&B “Be My Baby.” The song ranked among the finest pieces of the ’60s and is considered by many publications as the greatest pop record of all time.
The song also influenced many artists, one of which is Brian Wilson, who wrote the classic “Don’t Worry Baby” in response to the song. “Be My Baby” was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and was acknowledged by the Library of Congress in the United States National Recording Registry.
