Once upon a time in 1992, two of the biggest names in rap music, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Doggy Dogg, collaborated for a masterpiece, “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang.” It was featured on Dre’s debut solo album, “The Chronic,” and immediately reached the top two ranks on Billboard charts.
In a radio interview, Dr. Dre shared that they recorded the song through phone messages while Snoop Doggy Dogg was away. Despite the challenges, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame included “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” in the top 500 songs that shaped rock and roll. It also appeared on online programs, including the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
