Mariah Carey – 35-Carat Engagement Ring
When Mariah Carey got engaged to James Packer in January 2016, the Australian media mogul presented her with one of the most expensive engagement bands ever owned by a celebrity. With its mesmerizing 35-carat diamond set in platinum, the engagement gift was intricately designed by the “We Blong Together” singer’s New-York-based friend Wilfredo Rosado.
In 2018, Carey sold the band as a part of a financial settlement following her split with Packer after the couple called off their betrothal. Although it was never confirmed, it is rumored that the sale was valued at a mere $2 million. In August 2021, Carey launched her new line of Irish cream liqueur, Black Irish.
