Larry Ellison – Lanai Island

It’s true that Larry Ellison has more homes than he could possibly ever live in, but that hasn’t stopped the eccentric billionaire from adding more to his business empire. The Oracle co-founder owns homes in Malibu, Lake Tahoe, and Silicon Valley, but the prized jewel in his collection is the Hawaiian island of Lanai.
Ellison purchased 98% of the island for an undisclosed price, although some experts have suggested a ballpark figure of $500 million. The island features amenities like markets, hotels, resorts, and clubhouses for Ellison and his esteemed guests. In April 2021, he splurged a further $80 million to purchase a mansion in Palm Beach, Florida.
