After she had decided to cut off her lovely chestnut-brown locks, a 17-year-old Miley Cyrus was on the lookout for new hair extensions. Shopping at the ultra-exclusive and pricey Gemini 14 salon in New York City, she would find the perfect extensions for herself, worth a staggering $24k.
The extensions got more expensive because the “Party in the U.S.A.” singer also had them dyed to match the color of her naturally brown tresses. Additionally, they had to be imported from Italy and were made by famed hairstylist Kristina Barricelli. In August 2021, Cyrus left her longtime manager Adam Leber to join Crush Management.
