Marilyn Monroe – Baby Grand Piano

For Marilyn Monroe, her Baby Grand Piano was the most important possession in her life, as it once belonged to her mother Gladys. During her days as a struggling actress and model, the blonde bombshell searched far and wide for the 1937 piano before purchasing it at an auction and keeping it with her for the rest of her life.
While living in her Manhattan apartment with her third husband, Arthur Miller, Monroe custom-coated the piano in a shiny-white lacquer. The piano was later purchased by pop star Mariah Carey for $662.5k.
