If you were one of the millions watching the BET Awards in June 2007, you couldn’t have missed Beyoncé sporting a pair of gold leggings. With her whole performance themed around robots, Beyoncé rocked the stage in a pair that reportedly cost a whopping $100k.

The two got married in 2008 and since then, their wealth and star power has only risen. In 2017, Forbes named Jay-Z the second-richest hip-hop artist in America, while Beyoncé was named the most powerful female in showbiz.
