Jimmy Buffett – Plane “The Hemisphere Dancer”
“The Hemisphere Dancer” is musician Jimmy Buffett’s personal seaplane. The aircraft is a 1954 Grumman HU-16 Albatross which also served as a search and rescue vehicle for the Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard. Crudely speaking, the ride is essentially a flying boat that is able to take off and land in bodies of water.
In May 2021, Buffett made his comeback, performing on the road after taking more than a year off. The singer/songwriter began his road tour with live performances on Delray Beach’s Old School Square in May 2021. With tickets for a four-person pod starting at $450, Buffett sold out the concert within hours.
