Jami Gertz was an actress that eventually became a billionaire—not because of her acting, though. The bulk of it came when she married Tony Ressler, the co-founder of Area management and a sports team owner who has stakes in the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Brewers.
Gertz, however, is committed to donating a generous sum of her wealth to charitable causes. She often tops the list of celebrity donors. For instance, in 2021, the Ressler Gertz Family Foundation continued its steady support for the Herman J. Russell Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
