Kanye West has earned approximately $400 million from his music career (touring, record sales, merchandise). However, the explosive success of his shoe brand Yeezy launched him into billionaire status, and it even managed to do well even in 2020.
Of course, billionaires can suffer from hubris, as he launched his presidential campaign in 2020, to the surprise of many. The following year, he got divorced from his wife, Kim Kardashian, the mother of his four kids. He is seeking joint legal custody for all four of them—North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm.
