Harvey Keitel is an American actor known for playing tough-guy characters. He grew up in Brooklyn, and after leaving high school, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps. Service meant three years in Lebanon during Operation Blue Bat as an anti-communist force. During the breaks, he learned acting as a craft.
He made his first film debut in “Who’s That Knocking at My Door” and starred in many movies such as “Reservoir Dogs,” “Thelma and Louise,” and “Taxi Driver.” His swagger and intense character turned him into a household name, and in 2021, Keitel starred in a biographical crime drama called “Lansky.”
