Clint Eastwood – Lifeguard: 1951

Clint Eastwood is an all-rounder if there ever was one. There’s hardly a genre he hasn’t yet explored, from Westerns and action films to comedy and romantic dramas. And even before Hollywood, Eastwood worked several odd jobs. But while his acting and directorial prowess are well recognized, not many may know that he’s a veteran.
He was drafted into the United States Army and posted at Fort Ord in Northern California. While there, he received basic training before getting a job as a swimming instructor. In 2021, Eastwood produced and played the main character in the Western movie “Cry Macho.”
