Fred Willard – Sergeant: 1949
Doing what he loved doing till the end, Fred Willard starred in the 2020 documentary “Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics,” which became his last project. He’s also known for roles in films like “This Is Spinal Tap” and “Best in Show.” Willard got multiple nominations for his role in the “Modern Family” TV series, too.
Before all the fame, he served in the military. In 1949, he entered the Kentucky Military Institute, serving as a Sergeant. This stint was followed by time in the Virginia Military Institute in 1955. Even though he’s passed on, the 2021 animation “Captain Daddy” still featured his voice.
