Chuck Norris – Airman First Class: 1958
You may remember Chuck Norris from action and martial arts movies like “Breaker! Breaker!” and “A Force Of One.” In a 2021 exclusive article, Norris paid tribute to his mother, who he described as his most tremendous driving force. He’s also a force to be reckoned with, but “The Hitman” star wasn’t always in the film industry.
After high school, Norris joined the Air Force hoping to train in the Security Police and pursue a career in law enforcement. But while stationed in Korea, he was introduced to martial arts. He later became the first Westerner to be awarded an eighth-degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.
