USS Jefferson City – Cost: Unknown
The USS Jefferson City is a Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine, commissioned in 1992 and named after the capital of Missouri. Home to around 140 sailors, the submarine is capable of performing various duties such as strike warfare, anti-submarine warfare, and support roles.
The USS Jefferson City is armed with four torpedo tubes, and 12 vertical launch systems, and can carry more than 50 weapons. In 2020, Robert McDowell Jr. became the new Captain of the USS Jefferson City and it has since been deployed from Pearl Harbor in Hawaii to the Indo-Pacific area. The submarine is a great source of pride for the people of Jefferson City.
