Boeing MQ-25 Stingray – Cost: $201 Million

The Boeing MQ-25 Stingray is aptly named after its sea creature counterpart, having a 75-foot wingspan and curved nose. Unlike stingrays in nature, the MQ-25 is not built for combat. Instead, it serves as a carrier and refueling aircraft for deployed military fighter jets.
The unmanned aircraft has the ability to deliver 15,000 pounds of fuel over 500 nautical miles. This is made possible by its turbo-fan engine, manufactured by the aerospace arm of the luxury carmaker Rolls Royce. According to militaryaerospace.com, Boeing was awarded a contract of $805 million for four of these machines in 2018. However, it is estimated that its cost has increased since then.
