M1A2 Abrams – Cost: $10 Million

The M1A2 Abrams battle tank is an incredibly modern piece of military hardware, despite its roots in the ’90s. Its exterior might look similar to its predecessor, the M1A1, but the M1A2 is equipped with more advanced features. It is powered by an AGT1500 gas turbine engine, originally designed for helicopters, and it requires a crew of four to operate.
The M1A2 is armed with an impressive array of weaponry, including the M256 4.72-inch smoothbore gun. This manual firearm is said to be more reliable than the autoloaders used in other tanks. According to NBC Washington, this tank is worth almost $10 million including training and maintenance.
