For someone of his skill and experience, having a rowdy dog like Togo around wasn’t only a waste of his time, it could also affect his other breeds and cause them to be restless. He ultimately decided to give away the puppy as a pet when he was six months old, thinking he would be of more use as a house dog. He couldn’t be more wrong.
