Seppala’s Frustration And Unwitting Discovery
It was only on the next day when Seppala noticed that the puppy had been on his trail. His dogs had been unusually tense, and he had been curious as to why, until he spotted his answer lumping after him from far off in the distance: Togo.
Seppala’s nightmares came to pass as the dog became a pest on the return trip, trying to lead the team off in reindeer chases. He soon decided he had enough and decided to strap him to the sled. To his surprise, the dog immediately became composed. Unknown to him, that was only going to be the mildest of his surprises that day.
